Coming from the Elbe valley near Lutherstadt Wittenberg, the gentle climb into the Fläming begins. Forests and villages of the Vorfläming alternate until the change to the paved bike path announces the state border with Brandenburg. Here in the Hoher Fläming Nature Park, the Nature Park Center in Raben at the foot of Rabenstein Castle has plenty of information and refreshments ready. Continue on a separate bike path to the spa and district town of Belzig, which offers numerous restaurants and hotels for a break or an overnight stay. In addition to Eisenhardt Castle and the historic town center, the SteinTherme spa invites you to relax in the well-tempered brine water.

Worthwhile stop in Bad Belzig
In Bad Belzig the Europaradweg R1 leads directly past the castle Eisenhardt and a kursächsichen post office distance column. It is worthwhile to extend the stay in the health resort and district town by an overnight stay. In addition to a stroll over the castle and through the historic old town, a visit to the SteinTherme is then also recommended.
